Film Wizard
Terms of Service
Effective date: September 18, 2026
The practical terms that apply when you create, edit, share, publish, or purchase features through Film Wizard.
1. The service
Film Wizard provides AI-assisted tools for film research, writing, image and video generation, storyboarding, transcription, media organization, timeline editing, training, community participation, and optional publishing. Features, models, providers, limits, and availability may change over time.
These Terms are practical initial terms for using Film Wizard. They do not represent a legal certification and do not limit rights that cannot lawfully be limited.
2. Accounts and responsibility
You must provide accurate account information, protect your login credentials and connected-service keys, and promptly report suspected unauthorized use. You are responsible for activity under your account except to the extent applicable law provides otherwise. Do not share access in a way that bypasses account or plan limits.
3. Your content and the license needed to operate the service
As between you and Film Wizard, you retain the rights you have in prompts, scripts, uploads, and other input content. You confirm that you have the rights and permissions needed to submit that content and direct the requested processing.
You grant Film Wizard a non-exclusive, worldwide license to host, copy, transmit, process, modify, create technical derivatives of, and display your content only as reasonably needed to operate, secure, support, and maintain the requested service; provide collaboration or public sharing you choose; and meet legal obligations. This license lasts while needed for those purposes, subject to your deletion choices and necessary retention described in the Privacy Policy.
4. Public sharing and collaboration
You choose whether to invite collaborators, publish a project or asset, create a public profile, or post in the Community. You remain responsible for public content and the permissions attached to it. Other people may view, comment on, copy, or redistribute public material. Removing public access does not control copies already made outside Film Wizard.
5. AI outputs and creative rights
AI and automated tools can produce inaccurate, incomplete, unexpected, similar, or objectionable results. Outputs are not guaranteed to be unique, factually accurate, non-infringing, suitable for a particular use, or eligible for copyright or other intellectual-property protection. You must review outputs and obtain any permissions, clearances, releases, or professional advice needed for your use. Film Wizard does not provide legal advice or guarantee ownership of AI output.
6. Third-party services
Film Wizard relies on third-party hosting, authentication, AI, storage, transcription, import, payment, stock-media, and publishing services. Their terms, privacy practices, availability, moderation, and output restrictions may apply. Separate publishing connections, including Buffer and connected social platforms, act only when you connect them and direct a post. Film Wizard is not responsible for third-party services beyond obligations imposed by applicable law.
7. Paid features
Prices, recurring or one-time status, included features, usage charges, and checkout terms are shown before purchase. Card payments and subscriptions are processed through Stripe; PayPal may be available for certain purchases. Taxes or payment-provider terms may apply. Except where the displayed checkout terms or applicable law require otherwise, purchases are governed by the terms shown at checkout. Nothing in these Terms removes mandatory consumer cancellation, refund, warranty, or other statutory rights.
8. Prohibited use
- Illegal, fraudulent, deceptive, defamatory, or rights-infringing activity.
- Content involving abuse, exploitation, unlawful sexual material, or nonconsensual intimate or identity-based media.
- Submitting content without required copyright, privacy, publicity, voice, likeness, or other permissions.
- Harassment, threats, doxxing, impersonation intended to deceive, spam, malware, credential theft, or attempts to harm others.
- Circumventing security, moderation, access controls, rate limits, billing, provider restrictions, or technical protections.
- Scraping, overloading, reverse engineering where prohibited by law, or using the service to disrupt Film Wizard or another service.
9. Moderation and suspension
Film Wizard may remove content, restrict features, suspend, or terminate access when reasonably necessary to address suspected abuse, security risks, nonpayment, legal requirements, provider restrictions, or material violations of these Terms. Where appropriate and permitted, the response will be proportionate to the issue. Automated and provider moderation can make mistakes; contact support if you believe an action was incorrect.
10. Ending use and deletion
You may stop using Film Wizard at any time. Signed-in users can use the account deletion control for the core account and project data it covers, and may contact lendon@visionaryfire.com for deletion assistance or questions about remaining records. Some information may remain where reasonably needed for payment records, legal duties, security, fraud prevention, dispute resolution, backups, or third-party provider processes.
11. Service changes and availability
Film Wizard may add, modify, suspend, or discontinue features, models, providers, prices, or limits. Reasonable notice will be provided for material changes when appropriate or required. The service may experience interruptions, provider delays, content moderation, failed generations, or data-loss risks; keep independent copies of important source material and finished work.
12. Disclaimers and responsibility
To the extent permitted by applicable law, Film Wizard is provided on an “as available” basis without promises that every feature or output will be uninterrupted, error-free, accurate, or fit for a particular purpose. Any responsibility for loss will be assessed proportionately in light of the parties’ conduct, the nature of the service, and applicable law. Film Wizard does not exclude liability or remedies that cannot legally be excluded, including mandatory consumer rights.
13. Changes and contact
These Terms may be updated as the service changes. The effective date will be updated, and material changes will be presented through an appropriate service notice when required. Questions about these Terms or support requests may be sent to lendon@visionaryfire.com.
